The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the essence of "rogue" as a type of political discourse. In the process of studying, attention is drawn to the correlation of the concepts of "linguistic personality" and "linguistic psychological type". The distinctive characteristics and the history of the origin of these concepts are considered, their difference is explained in the context of studying the archetype of the "rogue". Since the communicative goal of the cheat is revealed as effectively as possible in political discourse, the linguistic characteristics of the speech of the British statesman and British Prime Minister B. Johnson are analyzed as an example.
