Ways of lacuna translation from turkish feature texts into English (by the material of the works of O. Pamuk)

This article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the Turkish feature texts and their translations onto English on the problem of lexicon connected with non-equivalent vocabulary, the notion of lacuna and lacunarity, it also provides integrated study of the lacuna impact on revealing the Turkish national cultural component in the English translations of the Turkish feature texts. The research under discussion reveals different ways of lacuna translation and interpretation in fiction literature, with the examples from the Turkish and English texts analyzed, describes loss of the content and structures of expression in the analyzed examples of the English translation.
