The article considers features of the prevention of offenses and crimes against the constitutional order fundamentals and state security as the foundations of stability in the country. The crimes contained in the special Chapter 29 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, entail devastating consequences in main spheres of society and the state life. Through a lРѕng-term analysis the crimes causes are classified, in the fight against such crimes it helps to make a complex of complementary specific and fixed in regulations acts measures. The interconnection of prevention, suppression, individual and general prophylaxis considered as a feature of the confronting. Features of prevention are identified , it can help to improve the effectiveness of eliminating the causes and conditions of the crimes, and as a result to strengthen the progressive development potential of the state.
