FUNCTIONING IDIOMS IN THE POETRY OF THE SILVER AGE

The article is devoted to the structural, and semantic, lexical, and grammatical transformations of phraseological units in the poetic text. Based on the methods of the contextual analysis some different ways of transformations of phraseological units are studied and some functional features of using idioms in the poetry of the Silver Age are found out. Some examples of rephrasing. phraseological image in the poetic texts of K. Balmont. V. Bryusov, A. Blok, M. Tsvetaeva, I. Brodsky, B. Pasternak, V. Khodasevich, S. Esenin, O. Mandelshtam, etc are given by author. This interest to the poetry of the Silver Age is conditioned by the brave experimentation of the poets of this period in the field of the poetic semantics and the desire to reveal the potential possibility of Russian phraseology.
