Today the European Union is facing the need to streamline its migration policy, the development of regulatory mechanisms, management and control of migration flows and the fight against security threats and challenges, which the efforts the result of the mass migration to Europe. Nowadays to resolve the situation in the majority of cases remain unsuccessful. The growing flow of migrants to Europe not only does not contribute solution of the existing problems of migration, and also creates a lot of new ones. In this regard, topical issues became the identification of possible ways to improve the management of migration by the entire European and world community, capable to reduce the mass migration to Europe and to stabilize the situation on the continent. Article devoted to the analysis of migration management system in the European Union on the intra-level and in cooperation with third countries. It is founded the necessity of taking into account the experience of migration management in the European Union in the construction of the migration policy of the Russian Federation. The object of the study is migration within the European Union as a phenomenon of international political reality that has manifested in legal, demographic, economic and other spheres. The subject of study is the European Union's migration policy, aimed at the socia and economic stabilization and the creation of prerequisites for sustainable development of European countries. Taking into account the lack of study of the topic and its undeniable relevance, the aim of this article is a comprehensive analysis of the migration policy of the European Union. In the process of the study in the article reveals the features of the development of European migration processes and the basis of their international regulation. It is considered the main directions of improvement of national legislation of European EU member-states regulating migration processes.
