The article is devoted to the analysis of the linguistic identity of the teacher on the example of the work “Professor Unrat oder Das Ende eines Tyrannen” written by G. Mann. The object is the teacher. The subject - the specialty of the linguistic identity of the teacher. The author gives definition and theoretical material according to this theme, characterizes this person on the verbal-semantic, cognitive, motivational levels. The linguistic identity of the teacher is characterized by use of imperative, slangs, adverbs, particles, that are common for German language of that time. In his statements the teacher shows his importance, attack, devilment and rancor through lexical items. The linguistic identity of the teacher of this work characterizes the essence of the ideal Prussian school.
