In this article we considered Adyghe-Circassians’ literary-artistic tradition formation origin. Creativity of Adyghe writers of the enlightenment who initiated the formation of the national artistic tradition of Adyghe has been characterized. The analysis of literary works of the writers and the educators designating the initial stage of the formation of the literary tradition of Adyghe-Circassians has been completed. During the analysis of the pioneers’ creative work a number of scientific problems associated with the principle of the man image as a representative of the ethnic group based on the ethno-cultural traditions of Adigas Circassians have been determined.
