The paper presents an analysis of the concepts of “body” and “spirit” that are based the novel сonceptosfery “The Idiot” by F.M. Dostoevsky. We can attribute by the concept of “body” everything associated with St. Petersburg and society permeated by lust for power and money. Spirituality is undoubtedly associated with the image of Prince Myshkin. However, a detailed analysis of the results in a very ambiguous conclusions confirming the duality of the art world of the novel, created a great writer.
