The article considers the study of clip-art genre identity in Arcadiy Bartov’s novels. The main objective of the author is to consider the narrative organization of the genre, which became a distinguishing feature of the writer. The study of a clip-novel leads to the conclusion that the fragmentation, iterativity and reduction are the guiding principles of the narration that reflect the identity of A. Bartov’s prose to the Russian literary conceptualism.
