The article is devoted to writing, as Lingvocultural phenomenon. Letter writing is a form that requires additional competencies in the field of semiosis, directed by verbalized thoughts in a speech to written text. Communicants activity actualizes the need for careful selection of means of expression, respect for the rules of grammar and traditional formal and meaningful features inherent in a particular lingvokulture.
