The article is devoted to the process of world educational space formation by integration of national educational systems. In the sense of what has been marked above at the present stage of educational evolution the issue about definition of the term “quality of education” has been remained controversial yet. It happens because of lack of the one and clear understanding of basic education mechanisms within its structure. The authors of the article pay the most attention to foreign sources to make a point of attitude to “quality of education” not only Russian, but foreign researchers have. The object of the article is world educational space; the subject is quality of education. The authors make a conclusion about inevitability of world educational space formation though it has its pros and cons.
