The composition based on mosaic and merging principle of separative narration pieces in a completed, from the point of view of the plot construction, whole is used in many Gazdanov’s stories, in which the external randomness and disorder hide internal logicality and semantic completeness. Such structure of the text is affirmed in stories since 1930s and is connected with the evolution of narrative forms. "Khana" represents the invariant of such story plot-composite model which reflects the important features of the mature poetics of the writer.
