The emotive capacity of the medical term in modern discourses

The article is devoted to the analysis of the terms functioning in the Koronayaz language, the identification of their emotive potential. The material of Russian media publications presenting information about covid is used, the author claims that medical terms related to human life and health as its main values can be emotionogenic, which finds its manifestation in mixed discourses. It is revealed that medical terms acquire emotional content, acquiring discursive features and an emotionogenic code that verbally objectifies the emotional experience of a human patient. It is shown that in the process of the pandemic, word-making mechanisms began to operate, in which impressions, associative images and parallels arising in native speakers began to be widely verbalized and materialized.
