Emotive aspect of language: V.I. Shakhovskij's ideas and their practical implementation

The article discusses the ideas of V.I. Shakhovskij related to the teaching of the emotive aspect of the Russian language. The target of the article is to identify methodological components for teaching the emotive aspect of language and to prove their practical implementation. We have analyzed the key works of V.I. Shakhovskij. The selected components are applicable in the methodology not only of Russian as a native language, but also as a foreign one. Emotive lacunarity is the cause of communicative failures, so this aspect should be considered in the lessons of Russian language as a foreign. The practical applicability of the ideas is proved by the example of the educational and methodological manual “Emotional communication in Russian”.
