This article is devoted to the question of the formation of the stage factor in a dramatic text. The observation is based on the material of dramatic texts of the XVIII, XX and XXI centuries, which allows us to identify the universal linguistic and speech components of the phenomenon under study. The undertaken analysis of linguistic and speech means is intended to illustrate their potential in the formation of a specific discursive phenomenon that ensures the relevance of the dramatic text. The work examines the cognitive processes in the minds of the author and reader of the dramatic text.
