The most common notion of the absurd is that meaningless nonsense "and absurd expressions is semantically incoherent, meaningless, ridiculous expression. However, for some time now "absurd" ceases to be a subject of misunderstanding "is interpreted as a possible value on an equal basis with others" [2], and increasingly raises interest among researchers in different fields of knowledge. Known, for example, literature of the absurd (Franz Kafka, objeriuty Daniil Kharms, Alexander Vvedensky, Nikolay Oleynikov), theatre of the absurd (EugГЁne Ionesco, Samuel Beckett), modernism and the avant-garde in painting. By the middle of the twentieth century emerged in literature and art has developed a special genre, based on the philosophy of the absurd (S. Kierkegaard, A. Camus). This article analyses the reception of the absurd children's literature based on fairy tales by Yevgeny Schwartz. Absurdity in children's literature-common technique, which resorted to varying degrees. In the literature most commonly accepting absurd uses Lewis Carroll in Alice's adventures in Wonderland.
