This article discusses feminist literary criticism as a factor of world literature development, and its transformation in the national literary science of Iran and Ukraine (based on poems of Lesya Ukrainka, Forough Farrokhzad and Simin Behbahani). Such choice of the authors is caused by the influence of their works on the existed literary canons fundamental transformation in favor of the new vision of gender identity. Feminist literary criticism reflects the ethnic identity of the very concept of feminism in the named countries, which was formed under the influence of peculiar cultural environment and other factors. Originality of the chosen material determines the methodology of its analysis and defines the main vectors of research (philosophical, political, cultural, psychological or social). The article may be interesting for literary critics and researchers of comparative analysis, feminist criticism of artistic works, feminism and gender discourse in various scientific fields.
