The subject of this article is the analysis of law and order as an indicator of the security of the social environment of the Astrakhan region. The article is written based on the results of the monitoring surveys and regional statistical information. The authors come to the conclusion that the quality of the social environment of the region in terms of security can be characterized as unstable and relative safety.
