THE SOVIET STATE - POLITICAL OPPOSITION INTERRELATIONS IN 1920s: FROM A SOMEWHAT LIBERTY TO CONFRONTATION (IN TERMS OF THE UPPER VOLGA REGION)

Article is devoted to the analysis of activities of political opposition in the territory of the Upper Volga region (The Kostroma, Yaroslavl, Tver and Vladimir provinces) and the attitudes towards her of the official power. On the basis of archival material, the analysis of court practice by the author the conclusion that success in suppression of the social conflicts in days of a civil war didn't lead to folding of activity of repressive bodies in the 1920th years is drawn. The legal conflict resolution between political opposition and the state showed that the law "followed" policy again, at the same time most often the state resorted to application of criminal repression and administrative measures of coercion.
