The article reveals the role of the family, family traditions as a means of spiritual and moral upbringing of the child. The article presents the analysis of opinion of the respondents on the issues of family education. The article identifies the respondents' attitude to the problem of initiation of the child to the family traditions and rituals. According to the results analysis the particular conclusions were made.
