Article is devoted to the study of the components of the image of the ritor, identifying the features of the rhetorical portrait of a publicly speaking person, in particular the politician-diplomat. The relevance of the study is due to the prospect of drawing up historical portraits and studying the idiostyle of Russian politicians in order to create comparative studies of the achievements of Russian and foreign politicians.
