The article highlights the use of folk music education as a means of emotional responsiveness of preschool children.Emphasizes the importance of stimulating emotional responsiveness from an early age, as early childhood is the most favorable stage in the development of the senses, relationship to the surrounding world. The content of the activities on introducing children to folk music, its forms and types; main directions in activity of educatorsto familiarize pre -schoolers with the traditions of different peoples; folk music in the process of expanding the "emotional field" of the child.
