POSTMODERNISM and SOCIALIST REALISm IN THE interpretation OF russian WRITERS THE “THIRD WAVE” OF EMIGRATION

The article is devoted to the interpretation of postmodernism and socialist realism by Russian writers of the В«third waveВ» of emigration. Postmodernism was seen as the antithesis of socialist realist СЃanon, which was the official and dominant in the literature of the USSR. The author emphasizes that socialist realism as a theory and method has been the subject of debate in the pages of publications В«the third waveВ» of the Russian emigration. Several writers have been categorically do not agree with the precepts of both socialist realism and postmodernism.
