The term “environmental education” has many interpretations. Research of environmental psychology and pedagogy so intersect and interact with each other, that they are difficult to separate. Based on these definitions, it is possible to draw the following conclusions: ecological psychology studies the nature of the impact of the environment on the psyche but this does not mean that it is aimed at forming environmental qualities personality. Environmental education has been searching for the most effective methods aimed at building environmental qualities personality: environmental consciousness, ecological thinking, ecological culture and ecological competence. Many years of experience in practical and pedagogical in this area, concluded that a high level of environmental awareness formed on the basis of comprehensive knowledge of the various sections of the ecology, which could be called by the term “modern ecology”.
