PRAGMALINGUISTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ROBOT`S SPEECH IN THE AMERICAN AND RUSSIAN SCIENCE FICTION PROSE

This article is devoted to studying of the pragmalinguistic characteristics of the robot`s speech. The material of the research is science fiction works of the American and Russian authors. Methods of the conceptual and interpretive analysis were used in the work. The robot as a fictional type of science-fiction works is a prototype of the social robot, so studying of his speech is represented relevant. The purpose of the article is the consideration of statements of robots in aspect of their genre registration. Informative, imperative, etiquette and estimated speech genres which are owned by robots are described. The realization of informative genres is enabled by means of such speech acts as a representative, a narrative, a denial, a question, etc. Using imperative speech genres, robots express a ban, an obligation, a request. Etiquette genres are implemented by means of speech acts of a greeting, a farewell, an apology, a gratitude, etc. Robots introduction in the speech of an estimated component, for example, of approval or disapproval, demonstrates the use of estimated speech genres by them. Cases when the speech of robots is characterized by a marking status come to light.
