The article is devoted to the analysis of the speech of the righteous character, whose consciousness is different from other characters. The paper proves that the point of view of the character of a righteous type reveals not only noticeable stylistic, but also axiological differences: the language associated with the peculiarities of thinking and ideas about the world around us becomes an insurmountable obstacle between the characters. The narrative aspect of the work of art corresponds to the mental space embodied in the analyzed novel. The autobiographical discourse of the novel “Fish” by P. Aleshkovsky verbally expresses the speech and thinker activity of the righteous heroine, reveals the mechanism of a complex mental process and correlates with the individual character of the depicted subject of speech. Analysis of the speaker’s “language primacy” made it possible to clarify the characteristics of such an artistic discourse and characterize it as an “autogenographic” type.
