TYPES OF SICILIAN DIALECTISMS IN THE PROSE OF LEONARDO SCIASCIA

The given article devoted to the dialects of Modern Italian, the use of dialectisms in the literature of modern Italian novelists. The subject of the research is the types of Sicilian in the prose L. Sciascia. The goal of this research is to study the notion “dialect” and its relation to the language of piece of writing, to study peculiarities of the use of dialectisms in the prose of modern Italian writers. To describe the relation of modern Italian and its dialectisms synchronously; to analyse the types of Sicilian dialects in the prose of L. Sciascia are the research objectives. The methods of the research are companion analysis method (collection analysis of dialects by comparing, describing), descriptive method (including generalization of the data analyzed), transformation method to reveal similarities and differences in peculiar cases of the use of dialectisms in modern Italian literary language. While researching, the following conclusions have been made: the use of dialects in the context of modern linguistics is irregularity and usage violation. Dialects enter the language literary works in form dialectisms. Dialectisms are phonetic, grammar, lexical, word- building, syntactic peculiarities of dialect, reflected in a literary text. Lialectisms in the prose of L. Sciascia are up to 12 % of the lext vocabulary and represented lexically and grammatically.
