LEXICAL AND GRAMMATICAL ASPECTUALITY IN RUSSIAN AND FRENCH

This article is devoted to the lexical and grammatical aspectuality in Russian and French. Grammar aspect is associated with temporary forms that exist in context, while the lexical aspect proceeds from the lexical semantic content of a word that exists outside of the context. Lexical aspect is contained in the verbal lexeme, regardless of their grammatical realizations. At the same the grammatical aspect outclasses the lexical (semantic) aspect, amplifying or neutralizing it in the context.
