THE USE OF DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUES IN ASSESSING THE RESULTS OF THE PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIMENT ON THE FORMATION OF CREATIVITY OF STUDENTS

This article is devoted to the problem of measuring students’ creativity. The subject of the study is the techniques of creativity level diagnostics. The purpose is considering these techniques according to their application for detecting the efficiency of the forming pedagogical experiment on formation (development) of students’ creativity. The definitions of creativity, the author's position (understanding of creativity as abilities and pursuance of creativity), and author's definition of students’ linguistic creativity are given in the article. Five levels of formation of students’ (linguistic) creativity are defined. The author’s experience of applying the following techniques, i.e., "The Self-actualization test", Questionnaire of creativity by D. Johnson, Creativity questionnaire by J. Renzulli for diagnostics of creativity level of students of non-language specialties is described. The results of mathematical, statistical data processing are shown and analyzed. According to the stating experiment data the conclusion about the efficiency of using the forming experiment in teaching students a foreign language (German) is drawn. The results of the study can be applied by teachers for diagnostics of students’ creativity level.
