Discourse in this work is looked upon as a verbal practice, activity of a language personality. Texts are products of such activity. The space of a text is closed as a result of its completeness, but it opens into communication, into other institutional and individual texts if it is analyzed as a part of some discourse. Conceptual information of an imaginative literature work is connected with the image of its author who in this article is looked upon as the author’s language personality. An author’s language personality is a subject of a work of fiction. He or she categorizes the world in their work, and this categorization has two aspects: ideological and aesthetic ones. An ideological aspect is reflected through the language personality of narrator. But if a narrator due to some reasons is unreliable this function is indirectly fulfilled by the author’s language personality and very often through an aesthetic aspect of the work.
