In the present period of studies considering different types of stress, however, acknowledged absolutely all scientists are physical and mental (emotional stress). Many stressors lead to distress, which has adverse effects on psychological and physiological state of a person. For this reason, many Russian and foreign scientists in the recent turn to studies of stress resistance - measures the ability of humans to resist extreme impact without the formation of symptoms of certain diseases and to behave appropriately under stress. The analysis reveals the possibility of claims that stress can have a mobilizing and discouraging effect on people, depending on the selected conditions and biological inclinations and individual peculiarities of development of a particular person (personality, character structure, past medical history, family history, etc.).
