The genre of “Farmstead” elegy in Russian Lyrics of the XX century

The modification of genre form of elegy in Russian literature in the first third of the XX century determines the variety of its types (sad, cemetery, landscape, “farmstead”, ontological, etc.) “Farmstead” elegy is broadly represented in works by I. Bunin, A. Annensky, A. Akhmatova, O. Mandelshtam, I. Severyanin. Genre image of “farmstead” elegy is genetically connected with chronotope of bucolic lyrics and “the poetry of Tsarskoe Selo”. Genre-making function is performed by means of stylization and synthesis in I. Bunin’s “farmstead” elegies. The artistic picture of world in A. Akhmatova’s “farmstead” elegy has culture-centered character. Secondary performance of genre clichés becomes an object of travesty and parody in I. Severyanin’s works.
